Let’s find out more

And how is it going to revolutionize the delivery industry

About your product:

What is Kamzee?

Kamzee is a peer-to-peer delivery platform that enables community members ( who we refer to as Senders/Requesters) to send packages and goods of any size and other members with the right vehicular space to transport them whilst on their travel or commute (who we refer to as Carrier) and get paid for it.

Additionally, as it’s a peer-to-peer thing, these roles of Senders and Carriers can be interchangeable, so a Sender today can be a Carrier tomorrow and vice versa, ensuring anyone can earn.

How does registration work for companies?

To register your interest and join our waiting list, visit our website at www.kamzee.app. We will keep you up to date with all the exciting things that we are working on.

What are the benefits for a company joining Kamzee?

We are also considering the B2B model of Kamzee, when the service has matured and we have a reasonable amount of Carriers on the platform who travel frequently, we could perhaps be able to satisfy fulfilment for a single package or goods delivery for big companies.

How much does it cost to use Kamzee?

At the early stage, we hope to allow Senders set prices and Carriers to decide whether to pick it up or not, but at the later stage after getting a sense of the market and what the average prices are we will be able to simplify things for the users by setting the best and competitive prices for the service and the market.

What is your vision for Kamzee?

Our vision at Kamzee is to democratise the delivery market making it easier and cheaper to send goods and services, utilising the empty spaces of already travelling and commuter vehicles, we believe this will help in several ways ;

  1. Easy for people to send and receive packages without having to take time off work or work from home or queue in the post office or check for postmaster opening hours or call to reschedule another delivery day etc.

  2. Ability to earn a little money for fuel whilst you travel to your destination.

  3. Help with improving carbon emission by increasing delivery pipeline without significantly increasing the number of vehicles on the roads (this is achieved by using spare spaces in vehicles that are already travelling and commuting ).

  4. Encourage the recycling of boxes used for other deliveries to package, eg using amazon boxes over and over again

At Kamzee we believe in creating a business that is a net positive to the environment and we will strive to ensure that we do not put profit over sustainability

How much do candidates pay to apply on Kamzee?

It is completely free to sign up for the service.

Senders will only need to pay when they book a package that needs to be delivered (Delivery Job).

Carrier will need to go through extra steps for vettings like providing their Date of Birth and proof of address and photo verification but that service will also be free.

Receivers (the recipient of the package or goods) will not need to sign up for the service necessarily but will need to provide the delivery address, email and phone number so we can send them information, confirmation and verification messages.

Where is Kamzee based?

We are starting up in the UK and then onto Canada, we are taking this approach because the founders are based in UK and Canada. We are hoping with the lessons we get in the UK market could pave the way to possibly expand into the European market and the same lesson could open a possible way to expand into the North American market

What are the assurances that the packages will not be stolen or damaged?

We are approaching assurance from 2 angles Carrier vetting and insurance

Carrier vetting

Once a user indicates that they want to become either in the signup or a signed-up Sender they are presented with the option to enter more information which will be used for vetting the user

Are there alternatives to Kamzee?

There are many delivery services available in the market but none of them does it in the same way, as a matter of fact, peer-to-peer delivery is a new category, Nimbler in the Netherlands seems to do something similar and the only one we might consider a potential competitor

When are you planning to launch?

We aim to launch this service in early 2023

“What we’ve learned through doing hundreds and hundreds of thousands of deliveries is the sort of fundamental truth that delivery will always be multimodal, there’s always going to be different use cases, there’s always going to be different packages you need to carry around there’s always going to be different ways that you want to interface this system with the communities that you’re serving”

Adam Woodworth

CEO at Wing, (Google X Project, Alphabet Inc.)

So at Kamzee, this is the kind of philosophy that drives us to pursue the diversity Carriers and their different vehicles bring to the table, not just traditional man in a van but rather small vehicles, large vehicles, bikes, buses, caravans etc

About Us

People behind Kamzee

Kamzee is championed by 3 founders  Adiele Ohanyere, Chucky Anaigolu and Ese Bobori

Tell us a bit about the founder’s early life; where were you born and how did you end up in “Location”?

We were all born and raised in Nigeria but did not grow up knowing each other, Chucky and Adiele met as adults in Nigeria and became acquainted whilst Chucky and Ese met in the UK where there reside, Early life in Nigeria is tough and to some degree that is why there is a sense of familiarity and common ground among them.

Currently, Adiele lives in Calgary, Albert Canada and only move to Canada a couple of years ago. Chucky and Ese live in the UK and have resided there for over a decade.

Tell us about your career path so far.

As Founders, we all bring different skills to the table.

Adiele is a Logistics expert and has been working with supply chain and logistics for nearly 15 years, he owned a hotel in Nigeria and was responsible for the day-to-day successful operation of the establishment.

Chucky is a Principle Business Analyst and Project Manager and has trained many students to become successful career Business Analysts in their rights, this gives him a unique insight into companies’ inner workings.

Ese is a Senior Developer and has been a developer for over 15 years have worked in various organisations over the year and has broadened his understanding of building technology and projects from start to finish.

What made you take the leap into entrepreneurship?

For several years we have all had the insatiable need to use the knowledge we gathered over the years for something of ours, and contribute to the world and to some degree, Adiele was already doing that already, even though Chucky and Ese worked together on small projects but nothing of big had been triggered out of those.

When Adiele came up with this idea for Kamzee which was initially called “Kamze” he joined the Alberta Catalyser program and while he was doing that he realised he needed expertise outside of his core capabilities to make this a reality, so he reached out to Chucky to join him and then Chucky reached out to Ese and that how the three of us finished the Catalyser program and continue to develop the idea

What motivates us?

For us, unanimously, it’s the prospect of putting something useful out in the world, using all our skills and knowledge to help to provide a service that will be valuable to people.

What do you like doing when you’re not working on Kamzee?

We have a range of activities we engage Adiele enjoys Painting????, Chucky enjoys learning and playing the guitar and Ese is an Audio Visual specialist for his local church.

What are your hopes for the future, both personally and professionally?

Personally, We all have children, we would really love the prospect of spending more time with them, Doing Kamzee will give us the opportunity to work in our time and our own way, so even if we are working hard to make the best service for everyone we would love to be able to do it in a flexible way.

Professionally, deliver the best experience we can for our customers

What has been the biggest obstacle we have overcome in bringing this product to market?

The biggest challenge has been location time, as in time for us to sync with meetings between London and Canada which is a 7-hour difference, and as 2 of the founders are based in the Uk it often leads to the UK time being favoured most of the time, (poor Adiele 😕), for context a 12 noon is 6 am in Calgary and a 4 pm in Calgary is 11 pm scenarios that have both happened regularly joining meetings with vendors

When are you planning to launch your project?

We aim to launch this service in early 2023
